Default Problem with Seat Heaters

I have a 2002 G500 and both the driver and passenger seat bottom heater don't work. The back on both seats work. Took it to the dealer and they said its the seat heater elements that are burnt out. Replacement cost for each element is 900cnd each!!!! They say that it also includes the leather cover as the elements are integral with them. Has anyone had this problem? Any ideas on what to do?

Thanks

the dealer is right that the seat bottoms are burned out...and yes the seat heaters are integral with the leather and thats why it seems pricey...you have to replace both of them..where are you located?
