interior noise g500
 

any g-wagen owners out there with excessive interior noise? chirps and squeeks come from all of my windows and doors (2002 model). the dealer can't figure it out. they applied a gummy gel to all of the door strikers, inserted felt tape inside the door paneling, adjusted all of the door strikers further back. the fixes are only temporary. the squeeking comes back a week later. any suggestions or recommendations? i'm pretty deperate to fix the noises.

Dude I have the same ride.....I do not have any thing like that, but some of the plastic in the rear seat area tends to rub on crappy roads, but my doors are solid like a vault.

The only interior noise I seem to notice is in the very back. Sounds like the plastic rubbing and squeaking on the pot-hole laden roads. My answer is just turn up the sound system and listen to my fav cd's... Sorry, not much help but good luck!

I was tellin another dude the 02 models are really bad about that kinda thing my later model was way better as far as noise and other problems. COULD NOT DUPLICATE sound familiar?

On my 03 G500, I used to have Squeaky noise from rear. I put some lithium grease in top-left of rear door opening where 1/2" diameter nipple with plastic lining. That took care of annoying noise from the back.

Other than that I don't have noise issues.....yet.
