Hi guys...new to this car brand..got a 2012 GL450...
Occasionally car would sink low after being parked overnight...but would rise up when I go near it with the key..even b4 cranking it up. You would hear the air suspension foung its thing.
So..this low sitting..was not always...and there were no signals or warnings on the dashboard display.

Fast fwd...car suddenly was low..but never did its rising ...car looked leaned to one side..when driving..no message on dashboard..then while driving car started bouncing up n down in the rear...simplest bump in the road produced even more bouncing...tried rising the car...huge loud explosion noise..smoke and all..loud pop...car now sinks lower..still looks slightly lean..but is low...no signal or warning on dashboard..major bouncing still...
Hissing air sounds heard now when driving...did see a message initially about compressor needing to cool when I tried rising it..hoping riding would hsvr fixed the issue. No more message now.

question?? What the heck is up with this vehicle? Could mechanic have done something to cause the problem? Car was just out of shop for a minor repair related to starter..problem wasn't there b4. Please help...love the car but its getting to me.

Although nothing is displayed on the dash, it doesn't mean that the car doesn't have any stored 'fault codes' - I would try to pull those; they'll likely give you a good idea as to where the issue is coming from.
