I read through a lot of threads here, and keep reading post about staying away from the 2003 - 2005 year E Classes.

Yes. Its a great car unfortunalty many have these stupid electrical issues and can me a nightmare. If you are in the market for a W211 get an 07 or newer.

Simple.The highest recall rate in Mercedes history.Avoid the issues and stay away from that model,or ignore the advice and be prepared to pay the piper at some point.
