right. got recall on those before, but must be closed now.

your 111 engine is the same.

do you know the part number for that wiring harness? Also, are you saying that it was recalled, but it's too late to get it replaced under the recall now?

Sleepwalker, what should I look for on that harness? Is it just cracks or exposed wire or what? How bad is too bad to use?

cracks especially on the connector part.

that also include the fuel injector and air mass sensor harness.

There is a plastic cover runing down the middle of the rocker cover. You need to remove the intake pipe that runs across this cover. when u have the cover removed you will see 6 coils held in by some small bolts. reomve these and under these u should see your spark plugs. Good Luck

If I see cracks, can I patch it up with electrical tape while I'm waiting for the parts? Would that help?

yes you can to avoid shorting, but the main thing was that it is getting high resistance already.

the point where the wiring meets the connector is the one to pay more attention.
