Unhappy Navigation screen scale problem

Have a 2011 E350 and am unable to change the screen scale on the navigation /GPS. It seems to be stuck at a large scale and would like it to be in a smaller scale . Followed instructions in the manuals.....no luck.

Worried that the system has a failure and repair costs may be $$$$

Any input would be appreciated.

Did you get this resolved? Curious because I have the same issue in my 2012 E350. The **** works fine up, down, right, left but rotating has no effect in any of the Comand functions. Like you, map won't zoom.

Yes it is resolved. I changed out the control ****. A DIY project which was not difficult and saved $$$$

(Dealer analyzed problem and wanted $650 to repair.)
