Default AC questions 1996 E320

My son was in a small accident where he was hit in the front driver's side of the car. He noticed that the Air conditioning wasn't working. I noticed that the Pressure sensor appears to be located in that area of the fender. I added some refrigerant and it seems that it comes out cold on the right side of the car and not so cold on the driver's side of the car.

I think I have had this issue before but can't remember since I have had the car for 6 years.

Anyone seen this type of activity before. The fault codes say it has a bad sun sensor switch, a bad b1235 switch and it also says a bad compressor. The clutch engaged on the compressor and it appears to have been working.

ANyone have any ideas.

Add some more r134a and see what happens, could be low and the different temps are an indicator of that.Run the diagnostics again and when in error mode press both auto buttons at the same time and that will clear the errors ,then see which come back in a few days.

Thanks, I will do that. It seems that the AC is cold on one side and not on the other side. Almost as if the flaps aren't working correctly.

I will let you know the result of the diagnostics.

Thanks for the help
