Default RE: turn signal intermiting

You might be having a problem with the combination relay located next to the fuse box under the hood. It is a retanglular looking sealed relay about 3 inches in length and an inch wide. I replaced mine after my turn signals stopped working all together. This relay controlled the blinkers, hazard lights and the intermittent wipers on my 1989 300E. Cost about $59 from Autohauz.com. Not sure on your model car about this part but it could be the problem.
