Temperature Control Knob Woes

Temperature Control **** Woes
I finally got around to replacing the bulbs in the various dashboard lights, one of which were the 2 in the airco-pushbutton panel. It took some prodding to get the circuitry board out of the housing to get to the bulbs, but it all worked out. Installed the unit back in the car, turned on the lights and VOILA! Lights everywhere.
Now for the bummer part: the temperture dial no longer works. The temperature is set to around 60F (brrr) and everything works (airco, heat, fans), just not the dial. First I thought I had not put the shaft back through the dial and the pot-meter, but when I opened the control box again I could clearly see the shaft sticking out of the pot-meter.
I measured the resistance on both(?) potmeters. One ranges from 0 to about 4 kOhm, the other is static at about 3.7 kOhm. Is this correct?
If there are 2 potmeters, would it not make sense that both would vary their resistance?
Anyone tried to fix these?

RE: Temperature Control **** Woes
Update. Just fixed it. All the stress I put in the circuit board to get it out wiggled loose some of the soldered connections of the potmeters. A little soldering fixed it all.
