Suspension too soft
hi, can anyone tell me about making the suspension on my E320 touring firmer especially when the back yard of the boot/trunk is fully loaded after raiding an italian supermarket?
our youngest needs a firm ride to avoid feeling unwell. I wont do the work myself, local merc guy will. thanks for any advice to this new guy. g |
RE: Suspension too soft
Wagon has Self leveling shocks on the back not much to be done except different higher rated springs, you can't use shorter springs like amg or H and R, they would be to short for the stock shocks.Try a set of spring blocks that fit in between the coils, cheap fix and will stiffen it up a bunch.

Likely you youngest suffers because the ride is not dampened enough...perhaps heavyduty or sport shocks from Bilstein will resolve your child's motion sickness.
