Default Steering wheel upgrade

Hi all,
I am new to the forum and I am interested in upgrading my factory steering wheel with a wood/leather. My question is, are various classes interchangeable? Are the years very specific?
Thanks to all for you help in this matter.
TIA, Vernon

No, not all MB models have interchangeable steering wheels, although the W208 st.wheels can be installed in a W210 E-class.

You could also consider getting a multifunctional steering wheel with instrument cluster. That is, if your car has been manufactured AFTER February 1997. Price will be higher than just replacing the steering wheel, but you will have nice steering wheel buttons to 'play with'.

greetingz,

BigSis
