Just bought a 95 E320. The drivers door squeaks when I open and close it. I tried to oil the hinges, but it didn't help. I don't think the oil soaked in there. What do I do? Take the hinges off and soak them in oil? Buy new hinges?

maybe the bracket inside is broken.

use grease only.

 

I had a similar problem with a door on my 94 E420--door was squeaky and kind of loose on opening and closing. I found two loose bolts on the door by the hinge--tightened those and the door worked perfectly again. I also found loose bolts on two other doors.
