2000 E320

I was about to drain and refill the coolant but I ran into a problem before I even started.

How do I access the radiator cap? Do I have an air bleed bolt?

I would really appreciate a view of the pages in the repair manual that cover this service.

 

no need to bleed for air because it is self bleeding.

just drain the coolant. do not overfill the reservoir, you need to leave some space for expansion.

So there is no cap on the radiator? I refill the system through the reservoir?

I have 2 crankcase plugs right?

 

yes, no radiator cap...just that expansion tank (reservoir) cap.

2 crankcase plugs. you may drain from there too by using 17mm socket or wrench.

remember to turn on your a/c heater full when refilling it to get rid of air pocket inside.

Can i have a picture of my 1995 E320, automatic, showing the change of coolant as mentioned in the above tread. I want to change the coolant of my car myself.

Sleepwalker or anyone who can answer my question,
Where are the two crankcase bolts? I was underneath the vehicle with a flashlight and I don't see them. I did find two bolts on the side of the tranny, but they were bigger than 17mm.
Can you please describe where they are? Thank you
