Well it turned out to be a short in the wiring harness. Mechanic said it was unusual spot near fuel injectors. Said it was about 900 for part and 900 for labor. Sound right to you. Let me know, what you think.

what harness is it? is it the hfm engine wire harnessif so 1800 is too much list on the harness is like 1k then labot to install it is like 4.5 hours of labor at the most dont let them hammer you for 9.0 hours of labor to install it. i will be honest with you i can install that harness in less than and hour. if they argue with you tell them to show you the L.T.G.(labor time guide) of the repair
