Default Simple trans work gone bad!

I replaced the pressure cable on my 1990 300E...real pain. Had to drop the pan to push the linkage back up. All went well till the BIG leak! It appeared to be from the pan gasket so I replaced the gasket and carefully torqued to spec. Still leaked, I tightened the pan and the leak stopped... I feel as though I tightened too much. All was fine for several days, now it leaks like mad.

I would like to see pictures of the trans so I can possible diagnose the problem a bit before crawling under the car. None of my books contain any worthwhile drawings or pics of the trans in its entireity.

Any pics you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Much

Michael

those old type 722.3 .4 .5 trans all have problems with warping trans pans take off the gasket and put the pan up to the trans like your going to install it with no gasket and see if it wobbles as if is warped then go buy a new pan and gasket it will fix your problems.
