Bitter - sweet experience. I just realized that while there the dealer lost the small piece that is located in the rear bumper. The one that hides the place where you put the screw to tow the car

I understand what you are saying. MBZ today is one the worst in terms of reliability. No need to talk about what upkeep cost and what itwill be! I don't drive one way more than 50 miles in my E320 due to fear that it might break down on the road far away from home. I have been visiting various MBZ forums for information togethering and I find that MBZ has various common problems. Now I believe I know how to repair some myself at home. It is another story when breakdown happens on the road. If I may list some of the common problems; MAF, CPS, CAT, brake light switch, CAT, Air conditioner, flex disc, rear door regulator, lamp light socket failures, rack & pinion, display pixel dropping out, harmonic balancer, etc.
Learn and try fixing what you can yourself. You will save thousands $.

the dealer is ravisa haus, it's located in morelia, mexico where i'm living. i used to be a customer of fletcher jones in laguna beach, the biggest mb dealer in the world. i could say ravisa haus it's the smalest in the world. they are fine but very reluctant to accept to do warranty work after 2 years. the car ir running fine these days.
