Roof rack/cargo carrier for 93 300E?

Hi, I have a '93 300E, and I want to mount some racks on it to carry couches, beds, etc, to my new apartment. It doesn't seem to have any provision for it, but there are generic racks that strap to the top through the windows.

Any experience or opinion?
