Replaced Instrument cluster bulbs, now gas gauge won't work
2001 E430 Sport - I had some bad bulbs, so I pulled the cluster and replaced the bulbs. I also split the halves to inspect the ribbon cable for the outside temperature pixel issue.
Put it back together, multiple times in and out and in, and the gas gauge no longer works. The needle is on zero, the yellow reserve light does not light, and the trip computer still determines miles per gallon and fuel remaining just fine.
Any idea what I screwed up?
can somebody tell me which solder connections are for the fuel gauge needle device?
