Remove storage below radio 2000 E320 ?
 

How do you remove the storage "box" that is located below the radio and above the ashtray in a 2000 E320?

Reach under the wood that is around the shifter,has all the switches,lift back by the cup holder and gently lift up,you wont hurt it.Now that it is off and move it to the side ,no need to disconnect the wires.Now you will see two screws at the base of the ash tray,unscrew them and remove the ash tray,now reach op behind the cubby (that is what they call it)and you will feel a tab on the upper back side of it press down and depress it and the cubby storage will pull out.

I went to the dealership today and was talking to the service manager...
he was like... "let me get this straight, you want information on disassembly?!?!?!?!??!?"

LOL

I hope he comes in to my place of business asking for help some time!
