Rear wheel camber correction??
 

Hi,

I upgraded to 17"s from my stock 15"s. I noticed that the tire is wearing out on the inside of the rear wheels.

If I look on the rear from afar, I noticed that the camber is a bit off and the tire is leaning inwards causing improper tire wear.

My stock 15"s tire wear is very flat and even not unlike this 17"s

I assume that the wheel is a bit too big for the car?? I put in 215-50-17 from the stock 205-65-15

Camber correction cannot be made on the stock rear suspension??

What will I do?? just go back to 15"s???

it can't be.

your car can use rims up to 18".

using 15" or 17" can't change the angle of camber...does it? but it does change the distance.

The Rear Camber cannot be adjusted...If You have Negative rear camber..I Would use the ADJUSTABLE rear camber bars that replace the stock OE Mercedes fixed bars
I Installed them on my W210 Wagon..LOWERED with AMG Mono blocks 18s..And There is No Longer any rear tire wear from negative camber
Several shops sell the bars..do a search on the other forums..jeff aka speedy benz..and HOP sell them

Thanks for that reply. I noticed that most Benz W210 I see on the road has negative camber problems specially noticable when larger wheels are installed.
Both my left and right rear wheels have camber problems even with stock 15" rims.

I guess I really have to get those aftermarket camber bars. Those tires wear out real fast and those 17" tires are expensive!!
