Question about performance parts

i have a 1994 E320 sedan and I really want to add a performance chip to it. does anyone have any recommendations of a good chip thats not to pricey? any help would be great

i really want to add a little more performance and im not really trying to tear apart the engine again do you have any recommendations for simple power adders?
