Default Power Steering Pump Going Bad?

For the past few days now my power steering pump has been so some weird things. To start, when I turn the steering wheel I hear a squeal, exactly like what you would hear if it was low on fluid, however, the reservoir is full. On top of that when the engine is running, the pump makes a constant noise similar to that of a spinning bicycle wheel. Furthermore, the steering wheel seems a bit hard to turn (at least compared my mom's 2002 toyota corrola), but not like there is no power steering at all. Is this signs of the pump going bad?

just a guess here but have you checked to see if maybe your belt tensioner is going bad- see if the belt feels loose, this would cause very similar problems.

A spinning bicycle wheel? When i ride my bicycle it doesnt make a sound. But i know the sound that mean if it is coming from the steering pump.

Tensioner is good, and I do know that it is the pump making the noise, I took the belt off and rotated it to make sure. I am pretty sure the belt is good, looks brand new.

Thanks so far,

Andrew

Yeah in my opinion u need a new pump and dont buy a rebult steering pump new OEM only this is from experience on buying any rebuilt part that holds / uses fuilds. This goes for anybrand only rebuilt thing i would buy would be an engine or transmission.
