Well here is good story. I had to take i my 2002 E320 for a NYS Inspection and as it was on the lift at the shop and all of a sudden a power loss for the whole building and block. Now at the shop there is a1999 Porsche Boxster, 2004 VW GTI and an old MG convertableand of course along with my 02 E320 all up on the lift and who knows how long they will be there.It has already been about5 hours and the shops lot is full of cars and they are working outside on the lot tring to get things done.Lord knows how long a NYS inspection will take.

 

Tell them to replace the crank position sensor,common cause of area wide power shut downs

Problem solved. Power back on and 02 e320 passed NYS inspection
