When i bought my car it had a motorola fitted but I got the dealer to put in a car kit so that I could use my Nokia 6210. Mercedes do a cradleaccessory which attaches to the side of the console rather than the phone sitting in the arm rest. It looks quite good at blends in with the curve and design of the centre console.

The alternative is get a bluetooth phone and kit fitted. Bluetooth kits can be found for just over £100 now.
