OIL FROM UNDER CAP

1993 300E, last few times driven there is fresh oil leaking out from under twist cap. The cap is on as tight as it can be. Any thoughts on the problem?

You need to replace the cap because the seal is worn or missing??? Look inside the cap. Does anything look wrong?

Is your oil level okay--not over full?

valve seals?
pcv valve?
gasket on the cap?

if you will remove the engine oil dipstick while the engine is running in idle, can you see the engine oil gushing out from it? if it does.....
