Should I buy this 2002 e320 Wagon?
I have found a 2002 E320 Wagon 4matic with 131K miles. They are asking 9850, from the carfax, it states that the car was in a wreck on the right side. We test drove the car, haven't taken it to the mechanic yet. Didn't know if the price was in the ballpark or not. My husband is a DIY type, and has a buddy who works on his S class. So the question is, do I spend the bucks and have someone look at it, or just pass and keep looking?
Thanks for all the advice!

I would say pass and keep looking. 131k is a lot for a 2002. And there are many 2002 e320's out there with lower miles for about the same price. Good things come to those who wait.

Save your money and move on. Mileage isn't low but even if it was there are so many things that can go wrong from the engine to suspension, alignment, steering, brakes-you name it.
Pass.
Pass.

Private party?Get it inspected by a pro.It is worth in clean condition with proper repairs if not a salvage car $6900 cash.If it inspects well and you can get the price down where it needs to be,get it.Otherwise walk. You can pick up 60k mile 02's for 12K
