hey all i have a old 280e mercedes that im trying to get started but its not getting a spark, the plugs and leads are fine and when i take the distributor cap off the arm inside it still spins around when i turn the engine over any suggestions? cheers

 

Electronic ignition module, main coil or one of the two power resistor for ignition bust. What year is your 280? There is not much to go wrong.

 

thanks mate, yer i took the ignition module apart and there was a few burnt out condensors in there so got a new one coming in the mail and wel see if that works. not to sure exactly wat year but its around 1970 maby 68, thanks again
