Missing handbook

Went to get my E500 from the inspection today. They charged $230 for quite a substantial series of checks. It's the first time that I have ever had anyone look at a car for me, but I guess with this level of electronics, it's necessary.

The warranty runs out in a couple of weeks and I want to get to know the car before then.

I settled down to read the manual, only to find that it was for the c series. Anyone know where I can get a used book, if possible in a leather case, in newish condition?

I know it would be nice to have a leather bound hand book for your car, but would you consider one in pdf? I don't have one, but I have a digital version for my other car....and it was a free download.

RE: Missing handbook

Hi, Thanks for the replies and sorry for the delay. The year is 2003.

I do have this saved in my favorites now, and it's very good, but yes, the leather bound one would be nice, just to give the car a cared for look.

Also, there are some things that are specific to a later model I guess. Dimming the instrument lights is one. I pushed the button shown and sprayed headlight cleaner over the newly washed car :-(
