E class triptronic gear selector replacement
 

my brother spilt coffee on to his autogear selector on his 2000 E class 220 cdi and fried the circuit board it is the triptronic type.and i am finding the part hard to come bye and cost very high.The question is the ml 270 triptronic selector box on a 2001 model compatible as some one has made the sugestion it fits and the price is considerably lower
