In the market for an E350
 

New to the forum, new to M-B.

I'm seriously considering picking up an '07 or '08 E350 to serve as my daily driver. There seem to be a flood of lease returns on the market at good prices and low mileage, making for some really good buys.

I have a million questions and need advice from the collective experience of this board, but let's just start with a few simpler ones:

1) Must have options -- for me Sport package and Premium Package #1 are the minimum I will accept; what other options or packages should I consider?

2) How reliable are these cars? And what things typically break or wear out?

3) Is the E350 DIY friendly for maintenance and minor repairs?
