Hi everyone. New to the thread. Have a 02 E430 and the left front parking light and the rear left tail light do not work. Went to MB dealer and got new lights...dummy me...why both left sides? Hmmmm....Well the 7.5 fuse was blown.

Put a new one in and turned the light switch on... and pop. Blew again. And again. Obviously a short. Checked both of the wires at the light to make sue they were not bent or bare and touching anything. Nothing!

Any thoughts on where to start? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

 

Just a thought. One of my MB had light problems and MB replaced the headlight switch. Worth checking out.

 

possibly the wrong bulbs installed. compare the bulbs closly to the right sides. look at the little pins on the bulbs and make sure they are correct.
