Default Just bought 96 e320-VVvvvvvibbbrrate

Guys I just bought a 96 e320..driving her home the first hour or so on the interstate everything was FINE....then...all of a sudden I could floor it..push the pedal alll the way to the floor and she wouldn't gain speed..when I stopped at the stop sign off the freeway exit she vibrated like CRAZY...the display read "Check Engine-Engine Electronics"....now when idling she shakes like crazy-never stalls out or engine cut-out but there's no power when you press the pedal like she's struggling to 'pick-up'...Any Ideas? THank you!

Change spark plugs and fuel filter if they have not been replaced lately or if you don't know when they were replaced.

could be a few things you need to get the code read. could be misfire codes could be a air mass code. could be water in the plug wires could be a lot get the codes read that will give you a starting point. most auto parts store now day offer that they will read your codes for free. (dont buy anything from them though) get the code and i will tell you where to start

Okaaay..went and had codes read...came up with 2 codes.."300" (random misfire? I think) and "304" (cylinder 4)? ...So I guess I'm taking her into a local good shop and changing the plugs and wires...any other suggestions? Thank you so much for your help
