Instrument Cluster

Car is a w210 E320 inline 6, 1996 model.

I have original part 210 540 7347 (09)
Iwant to fit part no 210 540 0848

What would the procedure be, ie is there a reset procedure or any special precautions that need to be taken?

Are they compatable in the first place?
