Default IAT sensor location

I would like to know where the iat sensor is located. I think it is a maf/iat sensor all in one but im not sure. If that is the case then it is the one in the side of the intake tube correct? I am looking for the iat signal and power wires. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was going to install a performance chip to see if it actually did anything. Checked trap times before any mods now want to check them after install. Just want to make sure i use the right wires.

It is a 1998 e320 with the 3.2 liter. I am pretty sure it is in with the maf. Im just not sure what wire is the signal wire.

The MAF carries a thermistor which is used by the ECU to correct for Air Inlet Temperature.(AIT?)

IAT? Interior Air Temperature? is sensed by another sensor(s) within the cabin.

Sorry offhand I can't give you the pin-outs but I'm reasonably sure that if you Google "Bosch Mass Air Flow meter" you will find the pin out configuration you require.

Easiest way to check oerformance is with an appropriate OBDII scanner. try http://www.auterraweb.com/dyforwi.html
