Homemade Tool to Remove Fuel Sending Unit
 

I have been having some fuel gauge issues on my 2001 E430 4matic (big surprise), and I was having a hard time removing the Fuel Sending Unit without the proper tool, so I made my own. It worked great. Just some items from my junk drawer. Check it out... UPDATE: Just filled up and the gauge reads FULL! Seems that the FSU just needed to be rotated so that the holes are at !2 and 6 o'clock. RESULT!
