Help, please - Ride difference between RWD and 4Matic

Thinking about buying a E500, but can't decide whether to buy a 4Matic or RWD. Is there a significant difference in the way the cars ride?

Thanks in advance for your help.

RE: Help, please - Ride difference between RWD and 4Matic

I've had both (W210). No significant difference between the two, as a matter of fact I couldn't tell a difference driving the on dry roads. Where do you live? I'm in Connecticut (we get our share of snow) and the RWD model handled great in the snow with all season tires. Having the 4-matic for only 3 months I haven't had the pleasure to see it @ work. Yet, as good as RWD was I could imagine the 4-matic being even better.

Update... We had 4" of snow this morning. Get the 4matic if you get snow in your area on regular basis. Drives better than any 4 wheel drive vehicle I have ever driven.HTH

You can see the big difference if you drive in Mountains (on curbs) and wet highway. I'm in Las Vegas, we don't have bad weather, next card would be regular, not 4 matic.
