My text was deleted for some reason leaving only the photos. Here's the problem:The driver's headrest on my 99 E300 TD is stuck in the fully raised position which means it is probably not going to give me maximum protection in an accident. When I try the switch to lower it there is no response--no noise, no vibration no sign of mechanical life, and of course, no movement.Unless I am overlooking something I figure the problem is either a bad switch or something wrong with the motor or its connection. How can I access the motor and connections as well as the switch?Pix are attached. Thanks!

Good news! It turns out that my headrest wasn't really stuck. Based on some stuff I read I decided that before taking things apart I’d try moving the seat and sure enough the headrest automatically lowered itself as the seat went forward. And it automatically rose up when I moved the seat to the rear. Apparently if you let the headrest rise up to the maximum height while the seat moves back the button won’t lower it. The solution: Move the forward all the way and then move it back, stopping every few seconds to lower the headrest. Once the seat is in the position you want adjust the height of the headrest.

Glad to hear that you were able to figure out the issue and that it wasn't anything major. Please let us know if you have any other questions or if we can assist with any future part needs.
