My car is 87' 300E, can someone help me find out how many little need for 100 Km? Does the the engine can be adjected for saving the gas?</P>


Also, can I fill up with gas grade 87?</P>

I don't quite understand your question, but at about 7.6km per liter, you would need approximately 13 liters to drive 100km.</P>


If you're asking about how to save gas, or get better fuel ecomomy, the best thing I could tell you is to use premium 92 octane gasoline. Mercedes engines are designed to use 92 octane, and if you use 87 octane, your car will probably develop a pinging sound. It won't hurt to use 87 octane, but 92 octane is much more efficient, and actually burns slower, saving you gas.</P>

I run 87 in my BMW X5 whichcalls for premiumand have no difference in mileage or performance.
