I am having problems with the integrated transmitter. I have a rolling code garage door opener. I have followed the directions according to the manual as well as the mini manual and cannot obtain any response from the door opener. Yes, I have cleared it Yes, I have had someone push the Learn button on the opener Yes, during the first 20 seconds i have pushed the integrated transmitter's button(s) -- I tried each of the buttons; separate attempts Yes, I have tried with the car on and off Any suggestions? sb |
RE: Garage door opener
I have 99 E320 also. Successfully activated opener with Genie rolling code unit. Dont forget that the motorhead may also need to learn in reverse so check out the instructions for that as well. It's been a couple of yrs since I did it last but dont recall having any stress over this feature. see if this video will help....yes, i know it's a slightly diff version of the opener but i think similar enough in programming.

RE: Garage door opener
It's been a few years since I programmed mine but I think I had some issues with it at the beginning though it is working fine now.
I think I had to use the garage opener's transmitter remote to program the car's autolink instead of the buttons on the opener itself. definitely have to do it with the key in the on position I believe. |
RE: Garage door opener
I want to program mine with parking lot barrier. I tried to do it the same way as rymond's video (downloaded CD from Edsoto) but still can't figure out why it won't work with mine. BTW, the handheld remote's light blinks a few times when u press it and then stops. Does that means it stops tranmitting signals?
Any suggesttions! |
