Alright, so I am a independent sales and ervice facility for Mercedes-Benz vehicles among other european vehicles. I had traded a e-class diesel E300DT and upon our inspection of the vehicle we found that the right front spring seat on the op side of the coil spring is peeling off the body causing a very dangerous situation. I contacted the local dealershipand they had me send the vehicle to a Mercedes-Benz approved body shop to have a etimate mad eup to send into MB of North America. Now I fear that because I own this vehicle as an Independent sales and service facility that they will not cover this and give me some idiotic reason. I have had a customers vehicle fixed for the same problem in the past going this route. What I'm asking through this is that f anyone has information regarding this issues, because I hear it is very common, I would appreciate a link to websites, or e-mails, I want to have some strong evidence to hold up when they deny the repair. I think that it will be coverd but just incase.
