Hi, I own my 99 E-320 for about 5 months now and have a few questions about it.</P>


1) Does the wrench sign (for service) come on EVERY time you need an oil change? </P>


2) How many quarts of oil does an E-320 need? (i do not take the car the a benz dealer because I live in a VERY small town. The local oil change guy puts in about 8.5 quarts....but recently, the warning sign saying that my oil is above the mark has appeared on and off.</P>


3) What is the interval betwen oil changes?</P>


4)One of my rear bulbs are gone (i think the brake light), can one chage it w/o taking it to mercedes dealer?</P>


If you have any answers for the above questions, I would really appreciate your input.</P>

I think 8.5 quarts is correct.</P>

I've had to change a reverse light bulb, and it was supper easy. There's a little access hole cut in the carpet under the trunk lid. Took out the little bulb holder (comes out with a twist), put in a new one, and put it back in.</P>
