E420 engine light turns on
I just bought the E420 with 125,000 miles on it, the first 100 miles it drove fine, this morning went for work it shows no problem, on the way home the car does not hold idle, less than 500 RPM in drive mode then the engine light turns on and it starts to shake, get to the light have to shift to N or it might stall, just add a can of FUEL injector cleaner still no help, CHECK ENGINE, ENGINE ELECTRONIC stays on, please help.

The usual culprit is the ignition coil-packs; however, there may well be other issues involved. Take the car to AutoZone and get the codes read for free and then post them here. Get the exact codes, and don't the let store "interpret" them for you.
I am sure ohlord will chime in here with the link for purchasing a very good and inexpensive OBDII code reader from Harbor Tools [which I purchased myself].
Do you have the service/maintenance history for the car? When were the spark plugs last changed? At 125K on the odometerand a 40K change interval, you are most likely due.
These cars are also prone to throttle acutator failure when they get older, and that is a $1,200 part... soo, it is best to get the codes in hand and then decide where to begin...
