Hi-- Thanks in advance. The tranny shifter moves to the D position and the tranny shifts fine. But the lever all of a sudden cannot be moved to the lower gears. Like there was a gate or something. So it drives fine, but something is not right. Right? Any comments? Thanks, Chas.

 

The trans module changes from mechanical to electrical depending on the shifter detent position.If it shifts to d fine and shifts fine you need to look into a broken or worn shift bushing or linkage.
