E220 or not?
Hey guys,
Is there a way to find out what engine is in a mercedes? ie what capacity? The car is an E220 1994 Coupe, but I have a feeling it might in fact be a E200 Coupe. How can I check if it's a 2.0 or 2.2 Litre |

As far as I know both of the 200 and 220 are 2.2 litres.

No the 200 is 1998cc where as the 220 is 2199cc.
Also the 200 is 136BHP and 190n, where the 220 is 150BHP and 210nm. So, how can I find out what engine is in the car??? As mentioned, the car feels very sluggish. |

tell me the engine number or your VIN and i will tell you what kind of engine you got.

Yeah the current supercharged range is all 1.8 litre's, just the higher models have more power (more boost)
