E220 coupe electric seat
Hi,
I am new to this forum, I joined because I have always loved Mercedes and am now a proud owner of a 1994 E220 Coupe.
My car has developed a fault with the driver side electric seat, non of the electrics on the drivers side now work. The steering wheel does not move nor does the seatbelt mechanism move when I open the door. The seat is a memory seat which has also stopped working. I have been to Mercedes Benz and paid stupid amounts of money to have the fault diagnosed. They THINK (after spending loads of money) that the computer unit located under the seat is faulty. I have tried and tried to find a second hand part but no one has one. A new one is VERY VERY expensive.
Could someone please help, does anyone have the correct part for sale or knows were i can get a cheep replacement? Or is there a way to fix the old one?
The part No that I need Is 1298200026 I think.
