E-320 Starting Problems

My E-320 wagon has 120,000 miles, and has been very reliable, up until a week ago. Now I have intermittent starting problems. Every now and then, when I try to start the car, it will crank properly, but will not catch (start).I try a few more times, then wait a few minutes, then try again. Usually within ten minutes, it will start ok. Could this be a crank position sensor?

Very likely.I had something similar on my 1991, 190E. After changing the crank
position sensor eveything is good.
