dipstick location

Hello,

Where is the dipstick located on a 1997 mercedes e320 engine 104.

Is this also the place where u fill the transmission with oil?

rear right of the engine (your left if you are facing it).

yes, you fill ATF from there.

My E420 has no dipstick. So, the transmission has synthetic oil.
Do you what type of transmission oil that is recommended for the 97 E420?
