My newly acquired 97 E420 has cracking on the vinyl dash cap, around the vent outlets. Has anyone here ever replaced one of these? How difficult was it, and where did you find a replacement? OR in the alternative, has anyone had repair done that they found satisfactory? The cracks are about 1" to 1.5" long and some are as deep as the substructure/support material (that is, all the way through the vinyl). Thanks.
