Default Coolant level low.... Not!

I get the message "Cooling level low" on my '96 E320, even though the expansion tank is as full as it should be. I tried to increase the level a bit, but I suspect some sensor to be broken or wire to be loose.

Anyone know how to take alook at the sensor?

Pal

it's most likely a bad coolant sensor, sorry i can't help you locate it, but it should be in the tank or on top of it.
