I had some body work done on my 1999 E430 and when I got it back, the radio displayed "CODE ERROR". I went to my dealer, retrieved the code thinking this was a simply fix, and to my surprise, when I entered the code, the display still read "CODE ERROR". I was at the dealer, so I asked them to help. They tried and the same message came up. They told me it would cost one hour labor to get the serial number and they might be able to help me.

Is there anyone out there amongst the MB Universe that has a clue on what I should do?
